User management

A revised user management system was implemented in version 5.3. In order to support the latest authentication methods and various external authentication providers, Keycloak was introduced as a central identity and access management service.

User management and integration with, for example, Microsoft Active Directory are handled by Keycloak, while only the management of specific roles (permissions and user assignment) remains within visual energy.
