Drawing object
Drawing objects consist of individual symbols, are used in distributions and have two important functions:
- Graphical representation
- Definition of the structure type
To help with organisation, drawing objects are stored in folders.

In the Master data -> Drawing objects section, you can create a drawing object using the 
button.
Properties
Name/Designation/Title EN | Text – The term used for users with the English language setting. |
Name/Designation/Title EN | Text – The term used for users with the German language setting. |
Type | Selection – Defines the connection type:

Metering point | Yes/No – Specifies whether a metering point can be assigned to the drawing object. No metering points should be assigned to drawing elements used purely for visual display. |
Symbol field B–G | Selection – Select the symbol for the relevant column. |
