Transfer a licence

If the licence is to be used on a different computer in future, or if key components (CPU, motherboard, hard drive) of the licensed computer are to be replaced, the licence should first be returned and then re-licensed. Provided that a connection to the licence portal https://lic.kbr.de is possible, the return is also fully automatic.

  1. Follow steps 1 to 4 as described in the section “Automatic licensing”.
  2. Select the “Transfer licence” option. The system then checks and suggests the appropriate licences for return.
  3. Select the licence and then choose the option “Return selected licences now”

Once the return has been successfully completed, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
