Licence types

visual energy licences | |
Basic licence | Enables the basic functionality of the visual energy web software in the relevant version. If no basic licence is found on the specified server during login, a notification to that effect will be displayed, along with a link to the licensing page. |
“Cloud” licence option | Enables the creation of multiple, independent projects on a single server. |
Metering point licences (MP) | Allows the creation and use of metering points. Metering point licences are purchased per system (server), but can be assigned to individual projects, locations or even location media in the Licence Manager (see Assign metering point licences). |
Busmaster licences | |
Basic licence 100 / 300 | The device licence (100 or 300) determines the maximum number of devices permitted per Busmaster. If this option is not enabled, a maximum of one device can be added to the bus list |
“OPC” licence option | Enables the OPC Server and OPC Client functions. The OPC demo mode is then available for a maximum of one hour’s online operation. |
