Data Collection | In this section, you can specify the intervals, the events to be logged and the configuration files. The (daily) system reports are used to send the current configurations. By default, only configurations that have changed since the last transmission are sent. When enabled, the (hourly) service monitoring also acts as a heartbeat. The receiving system expects a service status at the defined interval. If this is not provided, a ticket will be created. |
Service contract | No communication with the KBR Maintenance Service takes place without an active service contract. The system ID is generated during system installation and should not be changed afterwards. Exception: When migrating to new hardware, the “old” system ID should always be re-entered. This ensures that the project assignment is retained. |
Transmission parameters | You can configure email settings here. Normally, emails are sent via the customer’s mail server. This also enables the administrator to monitor activities at any time. Alternatively, you can also send emails via a dedicated KBR mail server or use a Microsoft OAuth account. Depending on the option selected, further configuration parameters are required. |
Test | In this section, various tests can be carried out using the selected settings. A log of the process shows which test steps were successful and which failed. |
