Update

Provided that the visual energy server is connected to the internet and the KBR update server can be reached, this function can be used to update the visual energy server.

The version currently installed is displayed. If a newer version is available in the configured update channel, this will also be displayed.

Update channel

Various update channels are available, such as Stable or Beta.

CAUTION

Only change the “Update Channel” setting after consulting your KBR sales or service partner.

Updates following a change to the update channel may result in potentially incompatible data sets or licence issues.

Perform an update

You can start a system update using the UPDATE button.

NOTICE

Please ensure that no other users are logged on to the system and that no important workflows or system processes are scheduled during this period.

Server services will be terminated and any unsaved work may be lost.

Following the update, the services will start automatically and will be available again after a short period of downtime (a few minutes).
