Permissions

User roles define the permissions for a group of users. The individual permissions of a role can be customised. Furthermore, any number of users can be assigned to a role. A user may hold more than one role. When checking permissions for an object, all roles assigned to the logged-in user are taken into account, and the highest permission granted is applied.
