Excel add-in

The add-in for Microsoft Excel enables users to retrieve data from the visual energy system directly from an Excel worksheet. Data is accessed using a token belonging to the logged-in user, so that, in general, the same user permissions and roles apply. Virtually all objects – such as locations, metering points, stored measured variables, allocation objects, etc. – can be retrieved.

NOTICE

Only data stored in the visual energy database is provided.

Current live values or device events cannot be retrieved. More suitable mechanisms, such as OPC UA or shared dashboards, are available for this purpose.
