Project details

General characteristics of the project

Name/Designation/Title

A meaningful text entry. The designation is used for identification and search purposes and can be changed at any time.

Time zone

Measurement and energy data are processed and stored internally in universal UTC time. In evaluations, these are then displayed in the appropriate local time, depending on whether they are associated with a location or a project.

Charts may contain channels with different time zones. A time zone is therefore specified in the chart properties.

Language

The language selection is used to display the relevant objects in the selected language. As a rule, the language setting of the logged-in user is used. For language-specific output by the system where no user is logged in or can be assigned, the language setting of the project or location is used.

Working days per week

The number of working days per week is used when creating the project or location calendar.

Measure monitoring

Measures have a target date. This can be monitored and notifications generated. The “Enabled” property can be used to enable or disable monitoring altogether.

The property “Notification days before target date” allows you to specify how many days before the target date the notification is generated.

The “Email notification” property can be used to specify whether the person responsible for the measure is also notified by email in each instance.

Meter reading area monitoring

Meter readings may have a target date. This can be monitored and, if necessary, an email can be sent to the assigned meter reader.

Info

This property allows you to enter formatted information and notes for the object. This information is only displayed for the corresponding object.

For users, the project is typically the top level in the visual energy object hierarchy.

NOTICE

notice

Projects can only be created by a system administrator in the system area.

A maximum of one project may be created. Exception: With the “Cloud” licence option, any number of projects can be created on a single system.
