Folders for distributions
Distributions can be organised into folders. This is particularly useful in projects involving a large number of distributions. Unlike evaluation folders, however, distribution folders are not separate permission objects and cannot therefore further restrict access to the distributions they contain.
Create a folder
- In the “Data Collection” section, first select a location and then a location medium.
- You can create a folder using the
button. To do this, the medium must have the “Distributions” permission with “Edit” access.
Properties
Name/Designation/Title | A meaningful text entry. The designation is used for identification and search purposes and can be changed at any time. |
Row | Number – Used to position the distribution within the overall diagram. |
Column | Number – Used to position the distribution within the overall diagram. |
Selection – Once folders have been created, they can be selected here. The current object will then be saved in the specified folder. If no folder is specified, the root element is used. |
