Project measured variables

OBIS measured variables

The relevant measured variables for each project medium are also inherited from the system medium. It is not possible to edit these measured variables. Should a required measured variable actually be missing in a particular case, it can be created and edited here as a user-defined measured variable.

Create a user-defined measured variable

You can create a user-defined measured variable using the button.

Name/Designation/Title

A meaningful text entry. The designation is used for identification and search purposes and can be changed at any time.

Language

The language selection is used to display the relevant objects in the selected language. As a rule, the language setting of the logged-in user is used. For language-specific output by the system where no user is logged in or can be assigned, the language setting of the project or location is used.

Period duration

Time in minutes. Possible values are 1, 5, 10, 15, 30. Only available for the load profile and cumulative period maximum types

Interval

Time-range specification. Permissible values for…

  • …OBIS measured variables of type feed rate: (none), hour, day, week, month, quarter and year.
  • …Indicators: week, month, quarter and year.

Unit

Any text to display the unit, e.g. kWh or °C. There is no automatic aggregation from (k)ilo->(M)ega->(G)iga.

Indicators are traditionally expressed as a unit / influencing variable.

Function

Selection – Specify the aggregation function. Used when individual values in displays (tables, charts) are aggregated over longer time ranges. Examples:

  • Sum for consumption
  • Average for temperatures
  • Maximum or minimum of instantaneous values

Priority

A number used to sort the measured variables in lists. 1 corresponds to the highest priority and is therefore displayed at the very top. There can be any number of entries with the same priority.

Tariff

Number used to define the tariff. The value 0 corresponds to no tariff – the sum of all tariffs.
