Upgrading All-in-One (AIO) systems

The all-in-one systems are fully pre-installed systems based on the multisys 1R platform (1“ rack systems).

multisys AIO20 and AIO50

• Operating system: Windows 10 Embedded 2021 IoT LTSC
  Recommendation: Install WSL 2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux). Setup available

multisys AIO100, AIO 200 and AIO300

• Operating system: Windows Server 2012 (Extended Support until 2023)
  Not supported; no upgrade possible.
  Recommendation: Replace.
• Operating system: Windows Server 2016 (supported until 2027).
  Not supported; no upgrade possible.
  Recommendation: Replace the system or, if necessary, split it into Busmaster (Windows) and an external visual energy server (Linux).
• Operating system: Windows Server 2019 (Mainstream Support until 2024, Extended Support until 2029).
  Automatic upgrade not possible. Recommendation: Replace the system or install Hyper-V manually, and split the setup between Busmaster (Windows) and an external visual energy server (Linux).

How can I find out which operating system is installed?

1. Technical: Connect to the server via RDP. Use the Control Panel or the “About” section to identify the operating system and its version.
2. Administrative: If you purchased the system directly from KBR, the customer number and item number can be found on the KBR invoice or delivery note. Please use this information to enquire with KBR Sales about the exact operating system.
   If you purchased the system from a sales partner, please contact that partner.
