Measured value status
Each measured value stored in visual energy is assigned a status indicator. The status indicator provides information about the quality of this individual measured value or measurement period. The table below shows the permissible values and what they indicate:
Code | Status | Description | Permitted for billing purposes |
|---|---|---|---|
0 | Original value | Unmodified value from the measurement system. No adverse events have occurred. | Yes |
1 | Replacement value | Value calculated or corrected retrospectively. | Yes |
2 | Forecast value | Estimated or projected value. | No |
3 | Invalid value | Events that had an adverse effect occurred during the measurement period. The value must be validated. | No |
4 | Missing value | No measured values are available for this period. Specifying 0 as a value has no meaning. | No |
5 | Meter replacement, first reading | The meter reading is correct; however, as this is the first meter reading, consumption cannot be calculated based on the difference from the previous meter reading. This status is only available from visual energy version 5.1 onwards. | Yes |
Processing rules
- Measured values must be saved with a valid measured value status.
- If measured values are aggregated or otherwise linked to one another, the result can never be better than the worst status.
- In the case of analyses (e.g. reports / diagrams) or other outputs, the measured value status must be included in each instance.
