Degree-day calculation

For each day in the execution interval, a degree-day value is calculated and stored as a measured variable with the OBIS code 000-000:134.132.000*255. The measured variable “Temperature (average)” with OBIS code 000-000:128.128.000*255 must be present at the same metering point and within the same time range.

The daily average temperature is calculated and compared with the configurable heating threshold.

If the daily average temperature is above the heating threshold, it is not a heating day and the degree-day value is zero.

If the daily average temperature is below the heating threshold, it is a heating day and the degree-day value is the difference between the daily average temperature and the heating threshold.

The calculation applies only to the “Temperature (average)” OBIS measured variable (000-000:128.128.000*255).

Parameters

Heating threshold

Number – Defines the temperature used as the heating threshold.

Time span

Defines how the time span of the action is determined.

  • Latest: The time elapsed between the last record and the time of execution.
  • Complete: The entire time span, starting from the timestamp of the first record.
  • Number of days: Full days in the past, counting from the time of execution.
  • Time range: Specify the start and end times precisely.

Completion trigger

Trigger – Specifies the trigger that is executed once the workflow has finished.
