Allocation objects
Cost centres, energy use, and machines & systems are grouped under “allocation objects”. Even though the term “allocation object” continues to be used, the description essentially applies to all objects.
Required permissions
| To view cost centres, energy use or machines & systems, the relevant project permission with “Read” access is required in each case. To view, create or edit cost centres, energy use or machines & systems, the project permission with the “Edit” access right is required in each case. To delete a cost centre, energy use or machines & systems, you must have project permission with “Full” access. |
Common principle
- Proportional shares of measured variables from metering points can be assigned to an allocation object.
- Only “Consumption” type metering points are permitted. This prevents implausible calculations, for example of inflows which may be redistributed to other distributions or consumers.
- A maximum of 100 per cent of a measured variable for a metering point can be allocated to one or more allocation objects.
- Allocation objects can be organised hierarchically. A cost centre can therefore contain not only metering points but also sub-cost centres. However, these sub-cost centres are always transferred in full to the parent cost centre.
NOTICE
As only the “Consumption” type is permitted, this requires the creation of distributions and the assignment of metering points to drawing objects of the “Consumption” type
Note on the calculation
The shares are calculated periodically by a system service. The calculation interval can be set in the project configuration.
