Location medium

Medium / Media

A “location medium” groups together the metering points and the supply structure of a medium at a location. Once the metering points have been assigned in the distributions, the balance totals for the individual measured variables can be calculated automatically by means of structural data calculation.

Create a location medium

To create a location medium, the “Add medium” permission is required for the relevant location.

  1. In the “Data Collection” section, navigate to the desired location.
  2. In the location properties under “Media”, you can use the button to add the required medium from the list of project media.

Please note that each project medium can only be added to a location once.

If no project media are available to select from, they have either already been added to the location or do not yet exist under project media.

Properties

Name/Designation/Title

A meaningful text entry. The designation is used for identification and search purposes and can be changed at any time.

Automation

List – Displays the assigned workflows and services.

Links

List – Displays the links associated with visual energy objects.

Notifications

List – Displays the assigned notifications.

Measures

List – Displays the assigned measures.

Favourites

The current object can be selected as a favourite.

The current object is selected as a favourite.

Delete location medium

A selected location medium can be deleted using the button.

To delete a location medium, the “Properties” permission with “Full” access for the relevant medium is required.

The system checks whether any dependent objects exist. If this is the case, an extended deletion prompt is displayed. It must be confirmed intentionally by entering a four-digit number.
