Generate a dashboard PDF
This workflow opens a visual energy dashboard in headless mode on the server and creates a screenshot. This is saved as a PDF in an evaluation folder.

The file must be a dashboard.
Parameters
Name/Designation/Title | A meaningful text entry. The designation is used for identification and search purposes and can be changed at any time. |
Language | Select German / English – Sets the report language. |
Timeout | Number – The maximum time, in milliseconds, that the process waits for the result. |
Number of repetitions after timeout | Number – Specifies the number of times the maximum timeout period is repeated. |
Online waiting time | Number – The minimum time, in milliseconds, that the process waits after receiving the confirmation (Dashboard ready) until, for example, all controls have received the data and updated their display. |
Dashboard URL parameters | Text – Optional URL parameters Note: Some dashboards may require parameters to be specified (e.g. v1=150&v2=120). These can be entered here as text. |
Overwrite document | Yes / No – Specify whether a document previously generated by this workflow should be overwritten in the same folder. |
Target folder | Selection – Select the visual energy folder in which to save the output file. |
Email recipient list | Text – Specifies the recipients to whom the email should be sent. Recipients can be separated by semicolons. |
Recipient list | Text – Specifies the recipients to whom the email should be sent as CC. Recipients can be separated by semicolons. |
Recipient list | Text – Specifies the recipients to whom the email should be sent as BCC. Recipients can be separated by semicolons. |
Subject | Text – Allows you to set the subject line of the email. |
Message | Text (HTML allowed) – Allows you to set the message of the email. |
Completion trigger | Trigger – Specifies the trigger that is executed once the workflow has finished. |
Error trigger | Trigger – Specifies the trigger that is executed when the workflow ends with an error. |
Success trigger | Trigger – Specifies the trigger that is executed once the workflow has completed successfully. |
